Bridal makeup is not won on the wedding day: it is won at the trial. That is where we match the foundation to your skin in daylight, decide how far to take the eye, and check how the lip holds up once you have eaten and talked for an hour. On the day itself I am simply executing something we already know works.
Most of my weddings are at country venues in eastern Antioquia — Rionegro, El Retiro, La Ceja, Guarne — and in the west, around San Jerónimo, Sopetrán and Santa Fe de Antioquia, as well as Medellín and the Aburrá Valley. Those are very different climates, and the skin is prepped differently for each one.
If you are planning your wedding from abroad, this is worth knowing early: the western venues sit at low altitude and get genuinely hot, while Medellín and the east are milder but humid. It changes which products hold. We can do the whole consultation over WhatsApp in English and only meet in person for the trial.
You tell me the date, the venue, the ceremony time and what the dress is like. I send you a quote and we hold the date.
We meet a few weeks beforehand. We try one or two looks, photograph them in daylight and with flash, and adjust anything you are unsure about. You leave with the decision made.
I send you the arrival time and the running order for each person in writing, worked backwards from the ceremony and allowing for travel.
I arrive with everything, including my own lighting. Your only job is to enjoy it.
